My Background
I am currently completing my Community Counseling Internship hours through Lakeland University, building on nine years of experience as a practicing school counselor. I’m excited to expand my practice into the community setting, where I can support a broader range of individuals in achieving their personal and emotional goals.
My counseling approach is eclectic and rooted in a person-centered philosophy, allowing me to adapt to each client’s unique needs. I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, working collaboratively with clients to develop effective, practical strategies for growth and healing.
I’m especially passionate about wellness and enjoy teaching clients proactive skills in areas such as mindfulness, stress and anxiety management, communication, and other concerns clients wish to address. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges and move forward with confidence.
