Grounding and

Mindfulness Group

Boys Social & Emotional Skills Group (Ages 8–13)

It’s normal for kids to struggle with big emotions, anxiety, or feeling alone—and it can be tough to know how best to support them. This group is designed to help boys ages 8–13 build confidence, strengthen social skills, and learn healthy ways to manage emotions in a supportive, non-therapy setting.

Through engaging activities based in mindfulness, art, and cognitive behavioral techniques, your child will explore tools for emotion regulation, anxiety management, and grounding. They'll also have the opportunity to connect with peers, share what’s helped them, and discover new strategies in a safe, encouraging environment.

Give your child the tools they need to navigate their emotions—and the confidence to use them.

This group is run by Katlyn DeMain, LPC-IT; for more information or to sign up for the group contact her at katlyndemain@marriageandfamilyfocus.com.
